Hi Everyone! I want to start today’s blog about where to start when you’re stuck. We’ve all been there! You have it all mapped out in your head, you’re ready to begin your online journey. You open up your laptop, or sit down at your desk with excitement. And then there it is. The fear and confusion that grips you when you’re staring at a blank screen! Believe it or not, it doesn’t just happen to newbies. Experienced marketers often come against the wall from time to time. When this happens to you, take a deep breath and start thinking of what you want to accomplish today. Just today. And maybe even just this hour.
Promoting affiliate products is a great way to start making money online. If you’re a newbie, then using affiliate marketing as a strategy to earn money online can be very lucrative. If you’ve never even heard of affiliate marketing, then don’t worry. I’m going to explain it all here. If you’re more experienced, then you still may learn a thing or two, so read on!
Affiliate marketing is basically the act of promoting another person’s product or service. And in return for promoting their product, the seller gives you (the affiliate) a cut of the profits. The beauty of this strategy is that you don’t actually have to create the product or service yourself.
I personally like to promote products that I believe in, or think can be very useful to others. I avoid scammy products or those that I would never recommend to a good friend or to anyone for that matter. I like to give value, and in return, I feel confident that I am only passing on good products and services to others.
Where To Find Affiliate Products
Today I’m going to talk about how to make PLR articles unique. There’s no question that having PLR articles can be a huge time-saver and a great way to enhance the content of your services, whether that’s a website, en email list, or even products like ebooks. But because PLR articles and content packages are sold as-is, often to many buyers, it’s important to make it unique.
There are simple ways to change up your content so that it’s not identical to what everyone else is using. My personal favorite trick is to purchase a couple of packs from different authors on the same topic. Then you can mix and match! I like to take the best parts of each article and weave it into a new article of my own. If you choose to go with just one author though, there are plenty of simple ways to make changes that will make it your own.
My first tip is to change any heading or headers that are in the article. You don’t need to change it all that much, but changing even a few words will help.
Success means different things to different people. For me, one measure of success is to have reached that point financially when I can give my full-time job the boot and work from home. It’s always been the ideal lifestyle for me. But success can be anything that you value and makes you feel as if you’ve accomplished your goals. There are other ways in which I feel successful. One is when I’ve had a great day with my kids or my husband. If we manage to go a day with the usual the chaos of getting ready for work, for school organizing the schedule for the babysitter for the week and still manage to have fun, in my book, that’s a huge success.
Think about the ways that you feel success and jot them down. If you value making a certain amount of money, write that down. If for you it’s being able to finally buy that dream home, write that down. Whatever it is that make you feel accomplished, then start logging it. You can use a notebook or you can keep a journal of your successes for more inspiration. There are many “successful quotes” but this one speaks to me:
The secret of your success is determined by your daily agenda — John C. Maxwell
If you’re wondering how to choose a domain name for a website, you’ll be happy to know that it’s not all that complicated. A few common sense rules will however make a big difference in a good domain and a bad one. I’ve purchased tons of domain names in the course of my internet marketing career, and I’ve learned a thing or two along the way. I’ve come up with 5 basic steps for finding a great domain name. So let’s get started.
Basic Rule #1: Make It Short
Short domain names are easy to type. and easy to remember. It’s as basic as it gets, but which do you think is easier to get to: shoes.com, or buygreatshoes.com? It’s a matter of simplicity. With that said, many if not most of the super short domain names are taken by now, so you might have to go for a slightly longer domain name than you would like. This brings me to the next rule.
